V/Line, in conjunction with Sovereign Hill, now operates a daily connecting service called the Goldrush Special.

The Goldrush Special is a daily train service between Southern Cross Station and Ballarat Station, connecting with a coach transfer between Ballarat Station and Sovereign Hill. No special V/Line ticket is required - just purchase the applicable V/Line fare for your journey.

Sovereign Hill Entry

On arrival at Sovereign Hill customers who present their valid* V/Line ticket will be entitled to a 10% discount on the entry price to Sovereign Hill and a free Cobb and Co Coach ride (normally $4.50 per adult).

*a valid V/Line ticket means valid for travel on that day.

Discounted entry prices to Sovereign Hill:

• Adults - $31.50
• Concession - $24.30
• Child (5 -15 years) - $14.40
• Family (2 adults and up to 4 children) - $81.00
