This card is issued by the Department of Planning and Community Development (phone 03 9603 8860) and is available to permanent residents of Victoria aged 60 or over who work less than 35 hours a week. Please Note: A Commonwealth Seniors Health Card cannot be used as concession ID. |

Victorian Seniors Card holders are entitled to concession fares for use on trains, trams and buses across Zones 1 and 2. Victorian Seniors Card holders can also make full use of the Seniors Daily Metcard to travel all day on trains, trams and buses across Zones 1 and 2 for only $3.30. To save time, purchase a 5 x Seniors Daily. This is the Value Metcard option for the Seniors Daily, programmed with five separate days of travel for $16.50. Victorian Seniors Card holders are able to travel at concession fares on V/Line train and coach services at all times. This new benefit means peak hour fares for seniors are generally halved on weekdays and significantly reduces fares on weekends.
